#BlackLivesMatter

#BLACKLIVESMATTER.

Black Lives Matter is a unique contribution that goes beyond extra judicial killings of Black people by police and vigilantes, that was created after Trayvon Martin's murderer Gorge Zimmerman. It affirms the lives of Black trans folks with records that are not dropped even now.

BLM ON THE LIGHT.
The BLM as a chapter is based on national organization working for the validity of Black life. It rebuilds the Black liberation movement and is a call to action and response to the virulent anti-Black racism that permeates the society .It wants nothing but to create political space within and amongst communities for activism that could stand firmly and finally centralize the leadership of those existing at the margins of our economy and our society.

We saw artist like Beyonce, Common and John Legend join the movement by expressing their feelings and thoughts based on the Black Lives Matter by releasing liberation songs and campaign videos which made the Movement even bigger and viral. In King B's video Formation we could see how she was celebrating the Black Nation and outlining some of the issues we go through daily.

MISCONCEPTIONS AROUND THE#BLM MOVEMENT.
It's been said that the movement does not care about black on black crime and that it is not a significant political conversation among Black people which is patently false. Other comments is that the #BLM is a leadership movement that has no agenda ,it is disruptive to the lives of White people and hates police officers which demonstrates the movement as a anti people movement.

With such misconceptions I think more PR campaign strategist need to be approached in order to seamer down the negatives around the movement and bring more understanding towards the BLM in order for it to grow positively.

MY 'NOVELTY' TAKE ON THE BLM
I believe in it very much and what it stands for. If it means the protests brings in different perceptions, then it is doing something right and it is seen as a threat to others or a ticket to full justice for Black killings and other oppression's which is a noble goal indeed! GOOD JOB #BLM.

#FillUpTheDome

#FILLUPTHEDOME.

Started as a dream to inspire the African Kid to believe that you can do anything you dream of, if you have faith, said rapper Refiloe Phoolo (Cassper Nyovest).

Refiloe Maele Phoolo (born 16 December 1990 in Mafikeng) also known as Cassper Nyovest. A South African recording artist and record producer. His debut album was released on the 18th of July 2014. Cassper is currently signed to his own independent record label and media company Family Tree.

The #fillupthedome strategy on social media made it easier for people to navigate through the campaign and what it was all about , the hash tag made the event trend and it went viral because of the use of social media which was a great and successful plan by the PR team behind Cassper Nyovest.

South African artist Cassper Nyovest broke a big record last year in Johannesburg when he amazingly single handled organized a concert at our very own biggest auditorium, The Dome, that has over 20 000 capacity and only used for shows when big promoters invite international acts. He is the first local artist to have ever used the Dome for a strictly local show and it sold out completely. Even when many had doubts about his dream.

IT WAS THE NUMBER ONE TREND IN SA TWITTER AND INTERNATIONALLY.

THE NEGATIVITY AND POSITIVE AROUND THE MOVEMENT.
It is no secret that Cassper and AKA also known as Kiernan Forbes have been making headlines for the past months in an ongoing feud with both rappers releasing diss tracks and fighting in clubs.

Bonang and DJ Zinhle , were both mentioned on Cassper's diss track Dust to Dust which caused a lot of hype about AKA and Bonang's affair even more. But Cassper made it clear that it did not come from a malicious place.

A lot of people - "AKA's fans were making fun of Refiloe's dreams and tweeting that he is not a brilliant lyricist and his music is "garbage' so the DOME will not be filled .Surprisingly the same people attended the concert. LOL. (Laughing Out Loud). During the campaign to #FILLUPTHEDOME some artist and publicists had a lot to say of how Cassper will not succeed, not because he is not a great artist but simply because South African artist are not respected enough by promoters to support a local concert and believe that the citizens will show up.

With all the negativity around the 'Dream' Cassper had a strong fan base, well known artist, politicians etc. supporting him and behind him 100%. He is known to have not completed his studies but made this movement be an inspiration to others, He created a united front for African artist to dream big .He announced that he is not making any money out of the event but putting in 4 million into his dream in order to get everything a big, exceptional concert, international standard is.

THIS IS HOW SUCCESSFUL THE EVENT WAS

Cassper did the most with his dream and salutations to him for believing in the dream! He is a man of action and that's what I respect and love him for.
